Watase Prefecture (渡瀬県 Watase ) is a Prefecture of Nakahara in the island of Maejima on Hokuriku Region of Tokai Region. The capital city is Futami.
History
Watase Prefecture was part of 2 province prior to the Nakamura Restoration, Shoda Province and Sugihama Province. During the Sengoku period, Suzumoto Clan from Sugihama Province expand their territory within Sugihama Province. Suzumoto Tokichiro, head of Suzumoto Clan came into conflict with the expanding neighbor Morigami Clan numerous times though he able to secure their territory within half of Sugihama.
Under the Miyawaki Shogunate on Shizuku Period, Futami Domain in Sugihama Province controlled by Takahashi Clan with 20.000 koku.
