The Miyawaki clan (宮脇氏 Miyawaki-shi ) was a Nakamian samurai clan that claimed descent from the Miyamoto clan. It first originated in and took its name from Miyawaki village, in Kariya Province (modern-day Ayukawa Prefecture). Over the course of its history, the clan produced many branches, most of which also centered on Kariya Province. In the 16th century, the main Miyawaki line experienced a meteoric rise to success during the headship of Miyawaki Motoyasu and became the first Miyawaki shogun.
