The Republic of Sundanesia (Indische: Republik Sundanesia) is a notable developing country in the northeast of Althena continent. It consists of an archipelago between mainland Althena in the south and Carreon in the north as well as Cilician Ocean in east and Pasai Sea in the west. It's neighboring with New Terrance and Septentria in the north, Ami Confederation in the west and Althena continent in the north.
The Sundanesian archipelago has been an important trade region since at least the 7th century, when Melaka and then later Jaya traded with Peilan and Samastra. Local rulers gradually absorbed foreign cultural, religious and political models from the early centuries CE. Sundanesian history has been influenced by foreign powers drawn to its natural resources. Following three and a half centuries of Batavia colonialism plus 4 years of Mitoyagi occupation, Sundanesia secured its independence from.
Sundanesian consists of hundreds of distinct native ethnic and linguistic groups. The largest – and politically dominant – ethnic group are the Javanese. A shared identity has developed, defined by a national language, ethnic diversity, religious pluralism, and a history of colonialism and rebellion against it. Sundanesian Motto: Beragam tetapi satu (Various but united), articulates the diversity that shapes the country. Despite its large population and densely populated regions, Sundanesia has vast areas of wilderness. The country has abundant natural resources, yet poverty remains widespread.

During the early independence era (1952-1973), Sundanesia mantain its anti imperialism power as can be seen with the national confrontation to the formation of Belawan Federation and Sintang Federation by Trentannia as the result of Trentannian imperialism to the Northwest Althena. Later during the new order era, Sundanesia ally much to the western nation such as Shayden in the economic and for somehow the foreign policies in that era much influenced with capitalism and liberalism stuff.
Sundanesia current foreign relation based on the 1952 national constitution Section 11, line 1 (post 2001 amandement): "Sundanesia menganut politik luar negeri yang bebas aktif" which in english meaning that Sundanesia has a unaffiliated and active foreign relationship consindering this nation try not to be affiliated to any bloc (communism and capitalism bloc). Most enlisted personnel are recruited in their own home regions and generally train and serve most of their time in units nearby.
Under current law, Sundanesia military service is voluntary though there's several proporsal to make it to be compulsory to the Sundanesian but this proporsal doesnt get enough vote and agreement toward the nationalwide population as well as the Sundanesian military force themself.
